The Silliest Weight Loss Products

The market is jam-packed full of loads of weight loss products today. Some of those products really are designed to help you lose weight. Other products and solutions, however, appear to be conceived solely for the purpose of making tons of money off of desperate people. Some products are so crazy that we thought we would highlight them here in this article so that you know not to fall for the promises they make.

Have you seen the weight loss ring yet? This is often a silver ring that coils about your index finger several times. The ring is built to put a good amount of pressure on the pressure points that people believe are supposed to help you lose weight. Science has established that there are some pressure points in the human body that, when touched, really can be used to help you feel better. Seabands, by way of example, trigger the pressure points made to control motion sickness. But the theory that a small ring can help you lose weight (actively, as a reminder it probably works just fine) is just absurd.

Have you by now observed the neck line slimmer? This is a solution that is designed to allow you to firm up the muscles in your neck so that you won’t have any lose or hanging skin. It does this through the use of vibration. Any competent health care provider will tell you that if you have excess skin hanging from your chin or off of your neck, that skin has already been stretched out and, even if your neck muscles become strong, they wont suck that skin back up into them. If you happen to be worried about the skin on your neck, see your doctor.

Have you noticed the Belly Burner Weight Loss Belt? This is a heated belt that is meant to allow you to literally melt the pounds away by doing nothing else beyond wearing the belt. From what we have seen, the belt is made to “heat the core” which, evidently, will make your weight fall off because of…what? We cannot actually figure that element out. It’s true that sweating eats away at calories but there isn’t any way to guarantee that those calories will only be burned away from the part of your body covered by the belt. Talking to your physician will be adequate to verify that this product is not meant to do anything at all besides get your hard earned money.

Believe it or not there are people on the market whose primary goal is to get your money. They understand that you are sensitive with regards to your weight and that you are desperate to lose it so they play into that insecurity and desperation. A large amount of people want nothing more than to shed weight but don’t want to do the work that it takes to get them there. More people would probably benefit from the process if it were simple. The simple fact is that slimming down is not easy. There is no miracle pill, clothing item or accessory that does the job for you.
